I can’t ‘like’ you because I don’t use any social media. It would be nice if everyone were included in your drawing.

  2. John Schoepf says:

I’m not making a big issue of it, but since I don’t use Facebook, or Twitter, (security concerns) my opportunities are pretty limited.

  3. Bill Barlow says:

I’am a beginner trying to learn everything about cord cutting.

  4. Marcy says:

I don’t use social media either, so I an unable to register for the drawing. There should be an option for non-social-media folks too!

I would like to know what the is the best way to get local stations without cable. We have tried several of the antennas that you hang in the window, but haven’t found one that will work in our area. We live in a very commercial area and an area with numerous mature trees. I have also not found one that will work in the basement. Any suggestions?

    1. Cordcutting.com says:

You might want to test a live TV streaming service. We have a piece on watching local channels without cable here.

  6. Alice Carlisle says:

I like streaming. Would love to be a winner.

It isn’t fair to leave those of us who do NOT want a Facebook account or a Twitter account. I have been a loyal reader for a few years. I have shared your website with at least 100 people who had no idea how to cut the cable TV cord. It was your site I followed when I got my Roku 2 and my Mohu indoor antenna. Is there a way for those of us who do not care for social media to enter this contest?

    1. Cordcutting.com says:

Absolutely! You can enter without social media accounts by signing up for Tablo’s newsletter.

Hi there! I bought a Roku smart TV, subscribed to Amazon, Netflix and uploaded about 20 free Roku channels, I am in heaven. I am disabled and cannot afford to pay the high prices of cable TV, it’s ridiculous. So I just decided to go Roku! What a word of free entertainment right at my fingertips, it’s so amazing, never been happier with my setup.

  9. Scott Kreidler says:

    Streaming is awesome.

  10. Kay Dee says:

Great! Like a lot of others, I’m not on social media, but I was able to enter my email address by pressing the button at the bottom of the big text box in the middle of the page that shows the time remaining to enter. Worked perfectly.
