- Canadian pirates are in the great game now. HBO is busily hunting down viewers who pirated Game of Thrones – which can only be watched via a cable subscription when you’re north of the wall (er, border).
- Speaking of people watching Game of Thrones in cold places, last week’s episode leaked early thanks to an error at HBO Nordic.
- The latest net neutrality ruling has cable lobbyists crying foul. Good! Meanwhile, though, Republicans are pushing a budget bill that would be a deathblow to net neutrality. Less good.

- Hulu has announced a new eight-part drama called Harlots.
- Fire TV’s parental controls can now restrict content based on its rating.
- PlayStation Vue now offers local streams of the big four broadcast giants in all markets where the local broadcasters are fully owned and operated.
