HBO Is Free on Sling TV This Weekend

Sling TV turned two last week, and they’re celebrating with a series of promotions and deals for new and existing customers. This weekend, the big promotion is free access to HBO for Sling customers.

Starting tomorrow, February 16, and runs through Sunday, February 20, HBO will be free to all Sling Orange and Sling Blue subscribers. Normally, the premium network costs an extra $15 per month.

The deal is for Sling TV subscribers, but non-subscribers can always get in on the action by taking advantage of Sling TV’s week-long free trial.

Sling TV is the longest-tenured member of the skinny bundle gang, which also includes competitors like DIRECTV NOW. Skinny bundles offer cable-like packages of channels and deliver content over the top (via the internet), which means that they can charge far less in fees and still deliver live network TV to your home or mobile device.

You can check out the channels Sling TV offers in our Sling TV channel list, and see how it stacks up against the competition in our Sling TV vs. PlayStation Vue and Sling TV vs. DIRECTV NOW pieces.
