How to Watch Telemundo Without Cable

How to Watch Telemundo Without Cable

Telemundo has a little bit of everything: telenovelas, reality shows, new programs, films, and live sports broadcasts, to name just a few things. It’s a must-have network for Spanish-speaking audiences, and that may tempt some of us to give cable an satellite a little too much slack. But here’s the thing: you don’t need to overpay for cable or satellite to watch Telemundo, because you can watch Telemundo without cable or satellite. You can even watch it for free! Sound good? Then read on, and let us show you how to watch Telemundo without cable.

How to Watch Telemundo Online Without Cable

There are two main methods for watching Telemundo without cable: live TV streaming services and free over-the-air TV.

We’ll cover free over-the-air TV in the last of the sections below, but our live TV streaming service options come in a few different flavors. So, rather than repeat ourselves, let’s just quickly run through what live TV streaming services are – and why they’re so great.

Live TV streaming services offer live network television stations for less than cable. They cost less in part because they often trim down cable’s bulky channel bundles into more manageable “skinny bundles,” a term that is also often used to describe the services as a whole. These skinny bundle services know that we don’t actually watch all 800 of those channels cable wants to sell us, and they allow us to pay for just the ones we actually want – which is, of course, cheaper.

Plus, since these services stream online, they can be anywhere. That means more competition for the live TV streaming service companies and more convenience for viewers: streaming video means you can watch Telemundo without cable on just about any device you please.

Or, at least, you can do so if the skinny bundle in question includes a Telemundo live stream. But which ones do? Well, we just so happen to have listed them all out for you below, along with more information about free over-the-air TV. Read on, and learn how to watch Telemundo without cable.

Hulu with Live TV

Watch Telemundo without cable: Hulu with Live TV

Yes, this is the same Hulu that you may already know for its streaming video on demand (SVOD) service. Hulu has added this offering to its stable of streaming packages, and it’s been making some progress in the market since its release last year. Hulu with Live TV offers one base package. That package will cost you $39.99 per month, and – thanks to a Telemundo live stream – it will allow you to watch Telemundo without cable. Your Telemundo live stream is among them. fuboTV offers a few main based packages, with “fubo” (44.99 per month) and “fubo Extra” ($49.99 per month) targeting an English-speaking audience and fubo Latino ($17.99 per month) targeting a Spanish-speaking one. Curiously, you will find Telemundo in the English-language packages only. You can read our review of fuboTV here, or you can just check things out for yourself – the service offers a seven-day risk-free trial. fuboTV also offers a discount on your first month of paid service.

PlayStation Vue comes to us from Sony, the parent company behind the PlayStation line of video game consoles. It debuted on PlayStation devices a while back, but has long since outgrown its video game-centric branding: PlayStation Vue works great on everything from your smartphone to your Roku device. And it makes a great way to watch Telemundo without cable, because a Telemundo live stream is included in every bundle PlayStation offers, from the largest to the smallest (the latter is “Access,” which costs $44.99 per month). DirecTV Now, AT&T’s entry into the skinny bundle market, divides its offerings up in to tiers. Your options begin with “Live a Little,” a skinny bundle that costs just $40 per month. From there, they get larger (and increase in price). All of the larger bundles include all of the channels from their smaller counterparts, which is great news for Telemundo fans, who can find a Telemundo live stream in Live a Little – and, therefore, in every bundle DirecTV Now offers. Turns out DirecTV Now only covers Telemundo via Video On Demand and NOT as a live channel, this is important as you cannot watch live sports events.
