Cord Cutting Guides, News, and Reviews
We’re on the record saying that AT&T Internet is plenty fast enough to run our favorite streaming devices and services smoothly and reliably. And we’re also familiar with AT&T’s regular promotions and deals, which help bring down the cost of that high-speed internet and make it even easier to save money while you stream. But even the regular deals we’re used to could be dwarfed by special promotions soon, because we’re entering the most exciting time of the year for deal-hunters: the beginning of the holiday shopping season and its huge sales, including the legendary discounts of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Will AT&T Internet go on sale this Black Friday or Cyber Monday? If so, what kind of AT&T Internet Black Friday sales can we expect? Will we see Black Friday deals, or will we have to wait for AT&T Cyber Monday sales? Don’t worry: We’ll be on top of all of these questions, both in the run-up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday and on the big days themselves. Keep this page bookmarked for the latest on AT&T Internet Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts.
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, and it’s traditionally a day of big sales in retail stores. The legendary visuals of Black Friday — including those infamous customer fights over the most coveted products — are all about the in-person shopping experience. But this doesn’t mean that we won’t see virtual sales on Black Friday, including sales on the ultimate digital-age service: Internet service itself. While we can’t guarantee that there will be a big AT&T Internet Black Friday sale, we can promise that we’ll cover every sale we find right here on this page. Consider us your AT&T Internet Black Friday hub.
We just talked about how Black Friday, once an in-person experience, has gone digital. But as internet shoppers know well, the online deals are not limited to Black Friday itself. In fact, the internet has its very own version of Black Friday, and it comes just a few days afterwards. It’s called Cyber Monday, and it’s your best bet for snagging deals on both digital and physical products from online providers and retailers. Given that AT&T Internet is (obviously!) an internet service, not a physical product, maybe it makes more sense to look for deals on Cyber Monday. We’d suggest you check our updates on both days, but don’t be surprised if Cyber Monday ends up being the day that AT&T’s sales drop. Of course, it’s also possible that AT&T will just run sales all weekend long — we sure hope they do!
Shopping for internet service can be a hassle, especially if you’re obsessed with getting the best possible deal. That’s part of why we have Cordcutting.com here in the first place: Our goal here on the site is to help customers make informed choices on all things streaming, and that includes internet service.
But, again, things get complicated. Should you bundle, or go internet-only? What’s with those promotional rates? Which hidden fees should you look out for? We’re always addressing questions like this on Cordcutting.com. And at this time of year, we have new questions to to answer — questions like “Will there be an AT&T Internet Black Friday sale?” and “Which day should I look for big sales — Black Friday or Cyber Monday?”
Answering these can be tricky. Based on past years, we can guess that at least some internet providers will probably try to entice customers with special deals on the long shopping weekend of Black Friday through Cyber Monday. But what those deals will look like and when they’ll be available is something that we can’t know until the deals drop. Our advice? Make sure to check out this page ahead of Black Friday, and check back in throughout the day and all weekend long into Cyber Monday. That way, you’ll be sure to catch any big deals and discounts.
While you’re waiting for deals to drop, do your research and decide for yourself what sort of service you really want to pay for. If you already know what you want (and what you don’t), you won’t be caught off-guard by a big sale. You don’t want to end up missing a limited-time offer because you weren’t sure you wanted something — and you also don’t want to frantically jump on a deal and later realize that you got something other than what you wanted. With that in mind, we’d recommend reading the latest reviews of AT&T Internet. Compare different AT&T Internet plans, too, and consider which sorts of features and why level of speed you’ll need. If you’re lucky enough to have multiple internet service providers in your area, be sure to compare AT&T Internet to competitors like Spectrum to see which one you should be focusing on. If budget is your top concern, you may even want to track Black Friday sales for Spectrum (or another local competitor) as well as those for AT&T Internet, so that you can snag whichever service offers you the most enticing discount. That’s what Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all about, right?
