Netflix has finally announced the release dates for their much-anticipated first batch of original movies. The company has been making noise about original movies for a while now, but until today they hadn't confirmed any release dates. Now we know that we'll be able to stream the first four Netflix original films within the year!

First up is Beasts of No Nation, a movie about a boy soldier in West Africa. The film will be directed by Cary Fukunaga, who also directed the HBO series True Detective. Idris Elba (of Luther and The Wire fame) will star.

Next, The Ridiculous Six will hit Netflix on December 11. Adam Sandler's comic Western features a huge supporting cast that includes stars like Will Forte, Steve Buscemi, Danny Trejo, Terry Crews, Luke Wilson, Nick Nolte, Rob Schneider, and Taylor Lautner. This is just the first of four Adam Sandler films planned for Netflix.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend will come next – sometime in the first quarter of 2016, though Netflix isn't saying exactly when. It's getting a theatrical release in China, but it will go straight to Netflix in other countries.

Pee-wee's Big Holiday is the last of the bunch, set for a March 2016 release (Netflix hasn't said which day it will come out). Paul Reubens (that's the actor who plays Pee-wee) and Judd Apatow are collaborating on the project, which will be the first full-length Pee-wee movie since 1988's Big Top Pee-wee.
