I will be sadly departing Sony’s PSV when they end their streaming service on January 30th 2020. I’m intrigued by Philo. If you will have any upcoming news on Philo’s offerings on Cyber Monday or Black Friday, please let me know. And also, how does Philo’s HD-streaming compare with others, eg. PSV, Netflix, YouTube TV, Amazon, etc. ? Keep up the great editorials you are providing ! They are extremely well written and informative.

Will Philo be adding any new channels in the near future?

Our cable bill is over $219/month!! That’s with No pay or premium channels!! It’s only the “Silver” package! My pension hasn’t gotten a raise in 21 years, and I do not anticipate that changing! Now that college football season is over, I really don’t care about the Sports channels now anyway! the Olympics will be on network too, so no problem! My daughter told me about Philo, so I just wanted to check it out. It sounds great to me!! Are there any discounts for veterans, retired firefighters, or over 65 year olds…lol?
    Thanks, Chuck Waldrop

I have been a Philo TV user ever since I heard about it and it’s great. I left cable years ago for a powerful HD Antenna and that was good for about 4 or 5 years but now I can watch my favorite cable station without spending $130 a month. For $20 bucks I can afford to see station like A&E, Discovery and History anytime I want. This is a blessing to us because we’re living on a fixed budget, thanks Philo!!!!

I just subscribed to Philo And I am planning to keep it. So far there’s only one thing that really bugs me, and of course which Is commercials. I’m still trying to figure out everything. I hope they would have commercial free and you pay a little bit more every month like Netflix and Hulu I would pay the extra money
