Melanie Merritt

Melanie Merritt, also known as Media Melanie, is a self-professed “media maven” with a B.A. in communications from Bridgewater State University and a media marketing specialist certification from San Diego State’s extended studies program. Melanie has spent over 15 years working as a digital marketing consultant and production professional. Melanie is a live broadcast stage manager for MLB and other sports and also serves as an IATSE executive board member for her local chapter.

An unabashed pop culture fan with a particular passion for television and ‘90s nostalgia, Melanie produces and co-hosts “Yellowjackets Hive,” a podcast devoted to every twist, turn, and theory for Showtime’s “Yellowjackets.” Melanie is also the former producer of “The Beverly Hills 90210 Show” podcast and enjoys staying on the cusp of the latest entertainment and television news. She is based in San Diego, where she lives with her husband, two kids, and rescue animals.
