How to Watch Paramount Network Online Without Cable

Paramount Network, like Spike TV before it, is available primarily through pay-TV services. In the old days, that would have meant only cable or satellite providers, but that’s not the case anymore. Today, you have other options — most notably live TV streaming services (sometimes called “skinny bundles”), which are similar to cable or satellite but operate more like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video.

On top of those live TV streaming services, you also have the option of watching some Paramount Network content on Paramount Plus, the on-demand and live TV streaming service from ViacomCBS. While Paramount Plus does not have a livestream of Paramount Network, it does have tons of ViacomCBS content available on-demand, including some Paramount Network programming. Since there’s some overlap, we’ve included Paramount Plus on our list as well.

DIRECTV Stream is a streaming service with some distinct similarities to cable and at least one big difference: It doesn't require a long-term contract. It may not be cable's sibling, but it's at least cable's cooler cousin. DIRECTV Stream's pricing is also a better value than cable.

Stream Paramount Network for free with Philo

Free Trial

Paramount Network is available on Philo, a streaming service that holds a special appeal for cord-cutters on a budget. Philo’s skinny bundle cuts out sports and most news channels in order to keep prices low. And Philo’s prices are very low indeed, so Paramount Network fans will definitely want to check this service out.

Stream Paramount Network for free with Hulu + Live TV

Free Trial

Hulu + Live TV is exactly what it sounds like. With this bundle, you get Hulu’s on-demand content along with its live TV service. And, as part of that live TV service, you’ll get Paramount Network — no cable required.

Stream Paramount Network for free with fuboTV

Free Trial

Skinny bundle fuboTV is chock full of great channels and Paramount Network is nestled into the selection. Sign up for fuboTV's free trial offer to start watching Paramount Network. fuboTV's fair pricing means that it won't be too shocking when your free trial ends.

Stream Paramount Network with Sling TV

Try It

Sling TV has a unique solution to the primary dilemma of the skinny bundle business: How can you pay for only the channels you want? Instead of opting for a tiered system, Sling TV chose to give subscribers the power to build out a custom skinny bundle of their own. This makes it particularly easy for fans of channels like Paramount Network to snag an affordable livestream of their favorite network. Read our Sling TV review to learn more.

Paramount, CBS, and Viacom: A Streaming Team

Paramount Plus may not have a livestream of Paramount Network, but there’s some overlap in the content. And Paramount Network isn’t the only ViacomCBS property contributing to Paramount Plus. On Paramount Plus, you’ll also find shows from other ViacomCBS channels, including Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and MTV. On top of that, Paramount Plus comes with a livestream of your local CBS channel (in most markets), plus live sporting events, news, and more.

Just want to post a warning – if you are an APPLE TV house (we are) – I would be VERY leery of trying SLING. We have had so many DVR experiences with them that stop half-way into the show. They say it is an Apple TV problem but we have zero problems with anything else. I spent several hours (even under protest – resetting router and taking down our entire automated house to try to fix their issue) – their tech support is pretty dismal. PHILO is almost half the price for better channels (except sports – which are pretty much non-existent right now anyway) and they are very reasonable and responsive.

Sling decided to screw their customers and moved Paramount off of sling Orange and added it to what they call their comedy package for additional $$.

I still miss watching Smallville on UPN, but not long after the show ended the channel became part of the CW. I remember back in the 60’s and 70’s when the only TV was over-the-air and it was free, so all you needed was a TV, an outlet, and a good antenna.
