But here's the short version: to watch CBS without cable, you'll want to use either an antenna or a live TV streaming service (or CBS All Access, but seeing as we just told you how to cancel CBS All Access, we'll assume that's not an option you're interested in).

First up: free over-the-air TV. CBS is one of the major networks, and the major networks are often available for free over the air. Your local CBS station has its own local broadcasts, and they're sending their live feed out over the air just as reliably as they are handing it to the cable giants. So figure out where your local CBS station is, buy an antenna with a long enough range, and enjoy! For more tips on that method, check out our coverage of over-the-air TV here on

As for the live TV streaming services, they work a lot like cable — only they stream over the internet and cost a whole lot less. For more on those with a focus on getting CBS in particular, our aforementioned How to Watch CBS Without Cable post is required reading.

It is not working there is a banner that states “Oops something went wrong, try again later. ” And usually when you were canceling something the last thing that you ever wanna to see is “Oops, try again later.”

I have tried on iOS on windows and mobile.

      1. Avatar ADS says:

I’m having the same issue; after hitting “Complete Cancelation” a banner message is displayed in red at the top “(!) Something went wrong! Please try again later.”. Have tried with several browsers. Interestingly, on the Account page, it shows my CBS All Access Plan is “Subscribe now!”, although my streaming devices all correctly show my plan as Commercial Free.

      2. Avatar Jessie says:

        Same here! Getting frustrated.

        1. Avatar Anonymous says:

Same here, called them the guy who was working from home and half ignoring me was not able to help, emailed them they sent me generic directions how to cancel, emailed them again and then they finally canceled it from their end.
They still will not admit there is a problem with the account management page….

  7. Avatar Randy says:

If the reason you want to cancel is because the service disconnected you, won’t accept a new password, and you need to cancel the service to start over, how are you supposed to do it? You can’t login so you can’t cancel. Chicken-and-egg thing. Of course contacting support gets you absolutely nowhere!

I called 1-888-274-5343 to cancel.

I signed up via my Roku. I couldn’t cancel on the Roku. Went on-line, read this blog. Then went to the CBS site as stated above. They said I have to delete via my Roku. Went onto the Roku. Again, couldn’t cancel. Called CBS. Went through menus. Eventually the recording told me to log into Roku. Logged into Roku and was finally able to cancel. What I learned from this is sign up for your services via Roku as they make it easy to cancel.

  25. Avatar Kristy St. Clair says:

ALL of the above apply to me. What’s the answer??
